Hsuan-Chih(Neil) Chen
Hsuan-Chih (Neil) Chen is a graduate student at NYU, pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Science. He joined the Jalaian AI Research Group as a volunteer researcher, where he supports various AI projects by leveraging his strong academic background and collaborative skills. Neil’s research interests focus on artificial intelligence, particularly large language models (LLMs), computer vision (CV), and multi-agent systems. Currently, he is working with fellow group member Johnny Yu on mitigating visual-language model (VLM) hallucination, a key challenge in the field.
In his free time, Neil enjoys playing basketball and video games, which helps him balance his academic pursuits with recreational activities. He is also an artist who creates drawings and participates in art competitions to showcase his creativity. Additionally, Neil is passionate about side projects and is currently developing an AI assistant, aiming to create a real-life version of the Jarvis system from Iron Man.
